Disability Rights Vermont Training Video—
In the first half of 2022, Disability Rights Vermont set out to create a training video
for law enforcement on responding to people with disabilities. Team Two Coordinator Kristin Chandler and Team Two
Steering Committee member Mourning Fox were interviewed for the video, along with countless other stakeholders who
provide education or services to people with disabilities. The result is a powerful 55-minute film titled “Improving the Justice
System from Within” that is now being used at the Vermont Police Academy to train new
officers. The overall message from everyone interviewed: treat people with respect. If you are interested in viewing this
