Board Member Expectations:
Attend 4 quarterly meetings per year. These general Board meetings typically last between 3 and 4 hours.
Attendance can be in person, by phone or by video conferencing, unless otherwise instructed.
Participate in at least one subcommittee of the Board. Subcommittees meet quarterly as well, usually for an hour to two hours.
Board member terms are for three years and can be renewed for an additional two consecutive terms (for a total of 9 years). Do you have any thoughts or questions about these expectations? Please feel free to email us for more information!
Directors work together to support DRVT by helping provide leadership, lived experience, and oversight. DRVT is required to have a Board of Directors with a majority of members who are individuals with a disability and/or a family member of a person with a disability.
